Every week we come across more reasons that make Harbour View such a historic and picture perfect place to live!
This week the Alloa Advertiser features a great story about esteemed artist David Allan(1744 – 1796) By origin ‘an Alloa bairn’, he became one of the most prolific and influential Scottish painters of the later 18th century with many of his works hanging in The National Gallery. Allan drew numerous local landmarks including Clackmannan Tower and panoramas of the banks of the Forth at Alloa.
